This original work uses "blue" notes, jazzy riffs, and an ostinato bass line (lower strings) to build to a nice full sound.

This spirited dance offers a lot of rhythmic excitement and features a string quartet from within the orchestra. Multi-meters, pizzicato, and other string techniques create interest in this original work.

This clever work is a lively 3/4 scherzo for high school string orchestra which utilizes the technical abilities of all the strings. In addition to the high school composition, the composer has written simplified Festival Parts for both intermediate and elementary players so it can be used to showcase the entire string program.
