Ryan Main Ryan Main, composer, arranger and conductor, holds a bachelor degree in music composition from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, and dual masters degrees in music composition and music education from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. Main has studied composition with renowned composers: Narong Prangcharoen, Michael Hersch, Dr. Kevin Puts, Dr. Mara Gibson and Dr. Chen Yi. He has also studied conducting with Dr. Joseph Parisi, Dr. Harlan Parker and Dr. Sarah McKoin. As an award winning composer, his works have been performed and recorded by small and large ensembles from high schools and colleges across the nation. Notable performances include those by the Peabody Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Harlan Parker and world premieres by the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory Wind Ensemble and Trombone Ensemble. A native of the Kansas City area, Ryan currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, where he directs the Riverdale Presbyterian Church Choir.
